continued , [ second ] The Use of The Apologetics to face The Unbelievers attacks
Some logical rules must be in the mind of the Apologitic , like the attentioin from the using of the universal words of the unlimited , like always , all , almost ... etc, and the particular words of partitions , like some , many , (group , few of ) etc,because it may be absent from the mind of its speaker . The square of apposition of "Aristotle" is a good method to explain our purpose and that is 5 *:-
(1) "P" affirmed "S" . that means every "S" is "P" Universal.
(2)"P" denied of all of "S" that means no "S" is "P" Universal .
(3) "P" affirmed of some "S" that means some of "S" is "P" Particular .
(4) "P" denied "S" that means [not every] some "S" is not "P" Particular .
The indefinite "P" affirmed of "S" means"S" is not "P" .
The indefinite "P" denied of "S" means "S" is not "P" .
The contrast is between (1) and (4) , The conflict is between (3) and (2) .
for example , if you said all the members of the church are faithful , it contrasts with the exprission some of them are not faithful. this rule helps us when we defend for the attacks of the Islamic view , about the crucifixion of Christ .
One day I was obliged to face a Muslim leader , he was a doctor in the Islamic sciences , he rejeted and refused the crucifixion of Christ , by saying that it was impossible for God to left him , and the Quraan said "They did not kill him or crucify him , but they imagined that , " it was my chance, a logical chance , I asked him 'who are they whom the Quraan spoke about them ? 'he replied , 'The Jews'
I answered him therefore even the Quraan could not deny that other people , like the Romans for example , could crucify Him , it only made the Jews "innocent " . he exclaimed ,surprised and said "it is the first time to make me think of that" , and stopped his attacking .
[third]The Use of The Apologetics Among The Believers .
First of all it is very important to teach the believers the bases and the rules of the Apologetics , in order to be in the form of his people , who invited them to carry their cross , and follow him, The advice of the Bible in I Peter 3.15 " to make a defense , to any one who call you to account for the hope that is in you " The believers prepared themselves to preach by the help of the holy Spirit , who can use the treasure of the Holy Bible which kept in their minds and souls , with all the personal capacities , like the abilities , experiences and the formation , to use them in different situations , the sience of Apologetics and its rules , are important elements which enriched the abilities of the faith . Dr., J.C.Philip summarized these values in four points 1 * :-
(1) Conservation of our faith .
(2) Better abilities to combate .
(3) Ability to recognize and refined enemy tactics .
(4) Aid in witness.
Also the believers who are in fact as members of the church ,members also in their society , they gathered together , as beleviers and unbelievers , in the jobs , schools ...etc, It gives the believers a chance to witness , but at the same time it makes them facing the invade of some doubts,by the acts of the attackers , during a time of faith weakness, the Apologetics is important to them,so , the strong believers can use the Apologetics to explore more and more , the beauty and the strength of the Christian faith for their spiritual personal life to enrich their faith,and to give them a power and real motives , to preach more and more , using the inspired word of God in the Bible .
[ forth] The Use of The Apologetics is necessary .
It is true that the Apologetics as a science is modern, but the men of God, experienced it, through the Holy Bible, from the beginning and used it, both for the believers , and to face the unbelievers . Many verses , passages and parts in the Holy Bible assured our opinion , for example Psalms 14 , 19 ,Acts 17 etc,
The blaming for the Angel of the church of Thyatira (Revelation 2.20 ) " Nowwithstanding I have a few things against thee , because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel , which calleth herself a prophetess , to teach and seduce my Servants to commit fornication and eat things sacrificed unto idols " That Angel , and his church were in need for the Apologetics to help them , to treat the weak people , who failed and defend against her tricks and attacks . finished .
